Learn About Us

Our purpose is to offer members educational programs on landscaping and gardening both outside and indoors. Including house plants, shrubs, lawns, and trees. We encourage local businesses, home and land owners to keep Wimberley beautiful thru our programs. Special attention is given to native plants.


OUR CALENDAR

Meeting location: Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in the Recreation Room 101 W. Spoke Hill Dr

(off Ranch Road traveling south from town)

All meetings are held at 10AM the 2nd Wednesday of each month

Refreshments are served at 9:30AM so come early

Field Trip to the Blue Hole

Plant Identification

The Wimberley Garden Club’s October 11th meeting will start with an outing to Blue Hole to identify plants growing there. Members who are interested in the walks (one short and another of medium length) should meet at the Old Baptist Church at 8:15 a.m. There will be carpools to the Blue Hole Pavilion where the walks will commence led by Jackie Mattice and Martha Knies, Master Gardeners. At 9:30 a.m. all members and guests should meet at the Pavilion for snacks followed by a talk on plant identification by Martha Knies. A business meeting will follow. Guests and prospective members are welcome.
